The park was initially an outdoor exhibition area for the 40th anniversary of the royal family in Romania in 1906.
Nowadays this lovely park is always filled with family activity. The monument in the Carol Park commemorates the fallen heroes of our country. It also marks the tomb of the unknown soldier with an eternal flame.
Looking for antiques? Then take a quick browse, on a Sunday, through the antique market outside the main entrance to Carol Park.
