A must see location 10 km away from Bucharest at 10 km away. It was built by Constantin Brancoveanu as his residential palace in 1702 and now it is considered to be the jewel of the Romanian Brancovenesc style architecture. It has a big court where you can freely walk around and the Brancovenesc Art Museum which you have to pay to visit.
The location is popular among locals for weekend picnics and the theme park at the entrance to the impressive estate.
All in all it is like taking a walk back in medieval Bucharest.
HOW TO GET THERE
This park is located outside of Bucharest. The easiest way to access the sit is by metro – Parc Bazilescu (M4) and from there by maxi-taxi (runs every 10-15 minutes; 3-5 lei / trip).
