On the Kiseleff street, in the heart of the city, you will find one of the most beautiful buildings in Bucharest, almost a century old, which hosts in its immense rooms a priceless cultural and scientific heritage consisting of mineral, stone and pale-ontological collections, nationally and internationally praised for their value . In the wonderful halls of this Palace of Geological Sciences are presented, to specialist and the interested public alike, an impressive collection of “mine flowers” as well as the most complete collection of rocks and fosiles in Romania. Also, one can notice splendide reconstructions of some great size vertebrates discovered in the geological layers on the teritory of Romania, including real size dinosaures discovered in the Hateg region.
