OmFest is the first festival in Romania that celebrates us, the humans, exactly as we are with all artistic and cultural differences.
The idea of the festival is to promote intercultural unity between people living in Bucharest regardless of where they’re from, what status they have, how long they’ve been living in Romania or what do they want to do next.
June 2018 edition is dedicated to refugees and migrants, celebrating World Refugee Day, 20th of June, day that commemorates the power, strength and perseverance of over 65 million refugees all over the world.
The event takes place in different locations in Bucharest. This week, you still can catch the last days of the festival at Clubul Taranului. There will be a photography exibition about migrants living in Romania, movies projection, culinary experiences from the Orient and Romania, henna tattooing and concerts.
